Harborough District Council Core Strategy Planning Document (Nov 2011)

The new Local Development Framework (LDF) Planning Policy Core Strategy Development Plan Document was approved by the council on 14th November 2011 and therefore now becomes the main local planning policy document for work in Harborough District

There is much stress placed upon sustainable development and many smaller developments will be impacted by the new policy seeking financial contributions for Affordable Dwellings for all new dwellings.

The Core strategy now includes development density targets (after it was removed from National Guidance). This is particularly challenging as the market assessment is that a third of new dwellings should be medium or larger dwellings.

New offices (Jun 2011)

We have moved from our Hillside Road base, to our new home at 48a Northampton Road, Market Harborough

Not to make things easy for us this is a project in itself! The property is known to many of the older residents of Market Harborough as "The Old Vets" and is in need of considerable refurbishment and renovation work.
